Vice Principal

Welcome to North Dover Elementary School! My name is John Gannaio, and I am honored to serve as Vice Principal.  I am pleased to be part of a school community where students, families, and staff work together to create a positive and supportive learning environment. Each day brings new opportunities for our students to learn, grow, discover their strengths, and experience success.

Our 2026–2027 theme, “ROAR into Your Story – Write Your Own Future,” is a wonderful reflection of what we want for our students. Every child has a unique story, filled with individual experiences, interests, talents, and dreams. We want our Tigers to understand that they have an important voice in their education and that the choices they make, the challenges they overcome, and the goals they pursue all help shape their future.

Our **ROAR expectations—Responsible, Observant, Accepting, and Reliable—**provide students with a foundation for making positive choices and building strong relationships with others. Through our ROAR initiatives and celebrations, we recognize not only achievement, but also kindness, perseverance, responsibility, and personal growth.

I am especially excited to welcome our Tiniest Tigers in Pre-K to North Dover this year. Their arrival begins an exciting new chapter for our school and gives us the opportunity to establish meaningful relationships with our youngest students and their families as they begin their educational journey.

I am fortunate to work alongside an incredible faculty and staff who bring dedication, compassion, and enthusiasm to their work each day. Together, we will continue to support our students, celebrate their accomplishments, learn from our challenges, and create experiences that make school a place where children are excited to learn and grow.

I look forward to another exciting year at North Dover as we ROAR into our stories, celebrate what makes each of us unique, and inspire our students to believe in themselves and the possibilities that lie ahead.
