Vice Principal

Welcome to the 2024 - 2025 school year!  I am confident that your child will have a positive learning experience at the North Dover Elementary School.  Each of our teachers is committed to working with your child and will have a lasting impact on his/her life.  I am very fortunate to work with caring staff members, parents, and students.  Each day at North Dover Is a new adventure filled with opportunities for growth, discovery, and joy.  From the moment your child walks through the door, they are immersed in a vibrant environment where learning is woven into every experience.

Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) are used at the North Dover Elementary School.  By teaching and reinforcing positive behaviors, PBIS helps students understand the expectations for conduct and encourages them to make good choices both inside and outside the classroom.  This proactive approach not only reduces disruptive behavior but also fosters a sense of community, respect, and responsibility among students.  With PBIS, we can celebrate positive behavior,  address challenges constructively, and ensure that every child feels safe, valued, and ready to learn.  

Our theme for this year is “Unlock Your Potential - Learning is Key.”   When students are encouraged to  discover new ideas, they unlock their potential and develop into confident, capable learners.  Fostering a passion for learning prepares students to face new challenges they will encounter in their lives.

The 2024 - 2025 school year marks my thirtieth year in education. During this time I have served as a special education teacher and school administrator.   As the vice principal, I am dedicated to creating a nurturing environment where every student feels valued, encouraged, and empowered to reach their potential.  Together, we will work to ensure that every child has to thrive and succeed.   I look forward to working with students, staff, parents, and community partners.  Let’s make this year full of fun, growth, and unforgettable moments that will make you proud of all you accomplish!
